Prismalia Journal provides immediate and unrestricted online access to all published content.
Readers may access, read, download, copy, share and use published articles without subscription or payment barriers, subject to the conditions of the applicable Creative Commons license.
Open access is intended to increase the visibility, accessibility, reuse and social impact of scientific knowledge.

All articles published by Prismalia Journal are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) .
Under this license, users may:
- Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
- Adapt, transform and build upon the material.
- Use the material for academic, educational or commercial purposes.
These permissions apply provided that users:
- Give appropriate credit to the author or authors.
- Identify Prismalia Journal as the original publication venue.

Copyright Ownership
Authors retain copyright over their work.
By accepting publication in Prismalia Journal, authors grant the journal and its publisher the non-exclusive right to:
- Publish the article for the first time.
- Distribute the final published version.
- Display and preserve the article online.
- Include article metadata in indexing, preservation and interoperability services.
- Make technical changes necessary for formatting, accessibility, preservation and dissemination without altering the scientific meaning of the work.
Because this right is non-exclusive, authors may continue to use and distribute their work in accordance with this policy and the CC BY 4.0 license.
Rights Retained by Authors
Authors retain the right to:
- Be recognized and cited as the creators of the work.
- Reuse the article in future scholarly works.
- Include the article in a thesis, dissertation, book or academic compilation.
- Use the article for teaching and academic presentations.
- Share the article through personal or institutional websites.
- Deposit permitted versions in repositories.
- Distribute copies to students, colleagues and research networks.
- Authorize adaptations and translations under the conditions of the applicable license.
Any subsequent reuse should acknowledge the original publication in Prismalia Journal and include the DOI or permanent article URL.
Requirements for Reuse and Attribution
Users reusing or adapting content published by Prismalia Journal should provide a complete attribution.
A recommended attribution includes:
- Name of the author or authors.
- Title of the article.
- Name of Prismalia Journal.
- Volume and year of publication.
- DOI or permanent URL.
- Reference to the CC BY 4.0 license.
- Indication of any modification or adaptation.
Third-Party Material
The CC BY 4.0 license applies only to content for which the authors or the journal have the legal authority to grant reuse rights.
Figures, photographs, maps, tables, illustrations, datasets or other materials obtained from third parties may be subject to different copyright or licensing conditions.
Authors are responsible for:
- Identifying all third-party content.
- Obtaining written permission when required.
- Providing accurate attribution.
- Clearly indicating when specific content is excluded from the article's Creative Commons license.
- Keeping documentation that demonstrates authorization for publication.
Users who wish to reuse material excluded from the CC BY 4.0 license must obtain permission directly from the relevant rights holder.
Self-Archiving Policy
Prismalia Journal permits authors to deposit and share versions of their manuscripts in institutional, disciplinary or general-purpose repositories.

No embargo period is imposed by Prismalia Journal for the self-archiving of the published version.
Preprints and Prior Versions
The prior posting of a manuscript on a recognized preprint server, institutional repository or personal academic website does not automatically prevent consideration by Prismalia Journal.
Authors must:
- Disclose the existence of the preprint during submission.
- Provide the permanent link or identifier.
- Ensure that the preprint does not violate copyright or contractual obligations.
- Update the preprint record with the citation and DOI of the final published article when possible.
Conference abstracts, academic theses, dissertations and institutional reports may also be considered when they are disclosed and the submitted manuscript represents a sufficiently developed scholarly contribution.
Submission and Publication Fees
Prismalia Journal does not charge authors any submission fee, article processing charge or publication fee.
Authors are not required to make payments at any stage of submission, peer review, acceptance, copyediting, production or publication.
Editorial and publication costs are covered by Chaski Group as part of its commitment to equitable and open scholarly communication.
Metadata, Harvesting and Indexing
Prismalia Journal may distribute article metadata to indexing, abstracting, preservation, discovery and interoperability services.
Metadata may include:
- Article title.
- Author names and affiliations.
- ORCID iDs.
- Abstract and keywords.
- References.
- DOI and permanent URLs.
- Publication dates.
- License information.
- Funding and data availability information.
Metadata may be harvested, reproduced and redistributed for lawful purposes related to scholarly communication, indexing, citation, discovery and preservation.
Commercial Reuse
The CC BY 4.0 license permits commercial reuse, provided that all attribution requirements are satisfied.
Commercial reuse does not transfer copyright ownership and does not authorize users to imply endorsement by the authors, Prismalia Journal or Chaski Group.
Users remain responsible for confirming whether third-party materials included in an article are covered by the same license.
